Treasure box for Helena!

My best friends daughter Helena turned one year yesterday and we were invited to her birthday party. Beside lots of plastic fruits for new shopping cart I wanted to craft something personal for her.

My father gave me a couple of empty cigar boxes lately. It was then when the idea of a treasure box arose.

I very much like the outcome although it took me a couple of hours to finish it. I hope she has as much fun with it as I had with the crafting and will keep some very treasure things like love letters, milk teeths, ect. in there. ;-)

I used lots of different papers, stickers, washy tapes and gems to repaper all sides except the bottom.

Baby card for Esther!

One of my best friends got a baby girl and named it Esther. So I had another reason to use my baby theme paper. It is very pink!

Butterfly in Purple

I needed a Thank you card for a close friend of mine. As purple is my favourite colour I have plenty of purple paper and therefore I hold the card very simple in purple.

Happy Birthday @ Aud Sentiments Challenge

Birthday cards are the most popular cards I make as I give/send a birthday card to my family members and lots of friends. That's an excuse to regularly make cards. ;-)
I am entering this card, I made for my sweetheart at the Aud Sentiments Challenge #79.

I am also entering this card at the

Polkadots @ Charisma Cardz Challenges

I just explore the enormous amount of Scrapbook Challenges where I can enter my scrapbooking cards.
This week I submit my flag card at the Polkadots Challenge from Charisma Cardz.

I am also entering this card at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #169 - Use Brown and/or Tan.

Christmas Challenge @ C.R.A.F.T.

One of the reasons I started my scrapbook blog was the possibility to enter my cards at challenges like C.R.A.F.T. I think I couldn't have started with a more difficult topic then this weeks challenge: CHRISTMAS. Why difficult you may ask? Because in Austria we had our last snow two weeks ago and finally it is getting spring. Therefore, it was hard to get in the Christmas mood and get some inspiration.
But here they are, my 2 entries for the Christmas challenge:

Easter Card Collection 2013!

I had to make my first Easter cards this year and tried various different materials as paper, napkins and felt. Furthermore, I tried some of my embossing tools and stamps. I am a big fan of using the sewing machine for my cards which I also learned at the Stoffsalon.
For the grandparents I made cards with a picture of our daughter.

Here is my Easter card collection:

Welcome WWW!

Hi, until today I avoided lots of social media platforms. This morning I realised that I can't compete in most of the craft challenges without a blog. Furthermore, I was looking for a way to share my art work anyway. That's why I created my craft blog.
I started to make scrapbook cards in March 2012, when I attended a Scrapbook Workshop with my best friend Miriam in Vienna at the Stoffsalon.
Since that day I am addicted to scrapbooking. There, I got a first impression on what scrapbooking is and learned a few techniques. I get inspired in reading lots of other blogs and be overwhelmed of the endless possibilities.

Here are Miriam and my first cards from the Scrapbooking Workshop:
