A Butterfly for Leni!

My cousin's girl Leni celebrated her 4th birthday and I needed a girly birthday card.
I used my birthday embossing folder and decorated it with ribbon, brads and a foam sticker butterfly.

Happy Birthday, uncle!

My uncle celebrated his 50th birthday. I used this patterned paper with this beautiful planes.
On the picture you can't see that the numbers on the sentiment are made with red powder and the heat embossing gun.

Embossed Washi Tape!

I liked the idea of embossed washi tape I saw on Pinterest. I created a monocromatic card and used my Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch again.
It is a clean and simple card BUT I love the outcome!!!!

Buttons, Brads and Bling!

For this card I got inspired by Kath on Pinterest. I always wanted to use my old newspaper designer paper and found the perfect layout for it.

The stamped and die cut flowers are from the Sizzix set "Flowers, Lovely". Furthermore, I used a stamp die cut and the flags are from the Stampin'up framelits set "Hearts a flutter".
I competed the card with buttons, brads, pearls, twine and embellishments.

Blue Skies are ahead!

I saw a similar card on Pinterest by My Chic & Crafty Lil' Heart. I like the idea of the transparent paper on top of the patterned paper. That's why I tried it. As I recently bought the Lawn Fawn Blue Skies stamp set I created this get well card:

Welcome, Johanna!

My cousin welcomed her second child two weeks ago. After a cute boy she and her husband added a sweet little girl to their family. Her name: Johanna.
I made the following card for her:

Treasure chest for Sebastian!

As for all kids in our family, I also made a treasure chest for Sebastian, the son of my cousin. I used another cigar box of my late father and decorated all sides of it with various papers, washi tapes and stickers. It is one of my most time consuming projects so far. I love the outcome!

Butterflies on a branch!

I love to use the Martha Stewart monarch butterfly punch. As spring is coming, I created the following card where two butterflies are "sitting" on a branch of a tree:

Happy Birthday, Erika!

It's been a long time since my last post. The reason is that my kids and I have constantly been sick since Christmas. With two little sick kids at home I had no energy in the evenings for my hobbies. I just went straight to bed.

But here is a new card of mine which I made for my aunt who's birthday is in two weeks.
