55 1/2 birthday party gift!

Me and my mum were invited to a 55 1/2 years birthday party of a dear friend of ours. Why did she celebrate her 55 1/2 birthday you may ask? Her birthday is originally in January and she always wanted to have a summer party on her birthday, like she could have when living in New Zealand or Australia for example. Here in Austria it is always cold and wet in January.
She wants to make a cruise next year from Le Hawre to New York on a cargo ship as her grand mother did many years ago. So all her friends made money presents to support her dream.

I used a white stretched canvas, turned it around and put all kind of stuff related to a summer birthday party and holiday/road trip on it. On the right is a small peg where I put the envelope with the money. I also used two rub-ons with beautiful sentiments which are suitable for our friendship and memories we won't forget, like this party.

Green on white!

I was inspired by a set of cards I saw on Pinterest as I needed some Birthday cards quite fast.

Welcome to the beach!

The son of a dear friend celebrated his first birthday last week and I made him this card using a beach paper as it is extremly hot in the last two weeks in Austria.

Pretty petals!

I have a Sizzix die and stamp set called "Sizzix Framelits Die Set w/Stamps-Flowers, Lovely" which I didn't use much so far. I used my little heart punch for the leafs of the flower.

Birthday Banner!

I saw a similar card on Pinterest and used scraps for my own card and was happy to use my sewing machine again. I used the heat embossing technique for the sentiment.

Little Feet!

All around me my friends become parents so I needed new baby cards. I used the CreaTables dies-feet from Marianne design and had some nice designer paper with measurements as background.

Christmas in July!

Very unusual but we have a second heat wave in July with more than 30 degrees. We can only stay cool when swimming or making Christmas cards in the evening:

I used theSIZZIX framelits and clear stamp set "mittens and snow globe". The snowflake stamp is from DEPOT. I used the heat embossing technique for them and added some pearls in the middle.
