Hello 2017!

My last card I post this year is also my very first New Year card. I will give it to my best friend Christine and her family. As I had so much fun with the Christmas shaker cards I showed you in my previous post today I made a New Year shaker card using the same technique. For the shaker window I used my brand new Lil'Inker Die Cut Set "Wonky Squares".

I wish all my readers a Happy New Year. May 2017 be filled with love, peace, health and happiness!

Winter Wonderland outside the window

In Austria it is still to warm for snow. No snow in sight at all. 😢
I created a winter scenery with a pre cut window card a friend gave to me as she had no use for it any more. I used the winter stamp set from Depot for it together with the heat embossing technique.

Last Minute Christmas Card 2016!

I haven't been blogging for a while now, as I was so busy in making christmas presents. I only made Christmas cards twice this year. For the shaker card I want to show you today, I was inspired by a technique of Jennifer McGuire. I wanted to create my first Christmas shaker card and in the end I made a complete series in gold and silver.

Wedding Frame for Christine & Joe!

Today I show you another canvas frame I created as wedding gift for my friend Christine and her husband Joe. I used the peg for the envelope with the money as contribution to their honeymoon to New York and Miami.

Smiling Snowman!

Today, I show you the next card using the same snowman stamp again and again.
For the sentiment I used the heat embossing technique again. It says "winter greetings" also winter seems far away so far at our place.

Gorjuss, lots of layers!

I want to enter this Gorjuss creation to the following challenge:

1, 2, 3 Santas and counting!

For this christmas card I was inspired by a work of SonjaK. It is such a simple way to use stamps and it looks great! The heat embossing on vellum works great and the red color is gaudy. You will see more of this style in the next couple of weeks.

Smiling Patches!

If I would get such a "get well" card it would cheer me up, no matter how sick I am! I love to use the "get well" stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

It's Embossable!

This is the second card where I used the heat embossing technique on an acetate sheet. I like the outcome but in the end it leaves you only a small place to write your birthday greetings on the back.

Thanks and good night!

I don't know how often I already told you, that the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Fairy Friends" is one of my favorites. This card was inspired by a work of Rachel Bergfeld. I love the combination of a watercolor background and the cute stamp set.

Dorset Buttons on watercolor background!

Besides of scrapbooking I started to make Dorset buttons in March this year. I love it. I just didn't know what to do with all my buttons. Finally, I tried to use them on my cards too as an eyecatcher. This is my first experience:

Quick Birthday Card!

Careful readers of my blog may know this design. If I am in need of a birthday card and not having much time for crafting I make a birthday card using the Happy Birthday embossing folder, ribbon, a paper flower, a button and some embellishment like sequins, and voilà the card is ready to be written.

Heat embossing on acetate sheet!

I tried a new technique: heat embossing on acetate sheet. It turned out quite good! I added two different kinds of purple paper in the centre of the sheet to add my congratulations for the birthday girl.
I made two pictures, one with a black and one with a white background:

Newest acquisition!

My newest aquisition is a filmstrip die. I looked through my stack of patterned paper and found a halloween scene which perfectly fitted for my first halloween card of the year. I also used my Xyron Sticker Maker machine for the filmstrip to stick perfectly on the paper.

Rocking Horse!

My friend Verena is very much into horses, so when her birthday came up I knew that Gorjuss with the rocking horse is the perfect motif for her birthday card. As she played the piano for years I used the notes patterned paper in the back.

Busy September!

In September lots of friends and family members celebrate their birthdays. So, I had to make a couple of cards. One of my favorite motif is the "Marianne Design Collectables Cutting Dies - Family Owl" I used together with a couple of balloons from the "Lil' Inker Designs - Birthday Balloon Greetings Stamps and Die Cuts". I can think of numerous designs with these 2 sets.

A collegue of mine at work asked me if I can make her a wedding card using white and green as she was invited to a wedding. So I looked at Pinterest and was inspired by a card from Claudia. I made a similar card but used the heat embossing technique for the writing behind the two hearts.
