We got new neighbors. They bought an old blue painted house and renovated it. I made them the following clean and simple card:

Sentiment in focus!

I followed the flip card tutorial on Pinterest using partial die-cutting. On the left side I added a blue border created with a punch. On the green patterned paper I added a butterfly, flower and a bunny sticker. I love the bright colors, they match so perfectly together!

Right medicine?

In Austria we have the Influenza weeks at the moment and therefore I made a get well card for a sick friend of mine. I used the Lawn Fawn set "Get well soon" and colored it with my copics.

What's Gingham?

When I came across the new challenge from 4 Crafty Chicks called "Gingham" I had to look it up, as I haven't heard that name before. In German we call it "Karo". So I looked through my cards and I found one where I used gingham patterned paper. The cake is again from the Stampin'up set "Make a Cake".

Go Green!

For this birthday card I used the two Stampin'up sets "Make a cake" and "Framelits - Hearts a flutter". As I have so many patterned paper I made a monochromatic card. The sentiments are from the Stampin'up set "Kleine Wünsche".

Consciously kept rustically!

My latest purchase is a die cut from Rayher of a wreath and some flowers and leaves. This is my first time using this set and my idea was a quite rustical layout. I also used a ribbon buckle of my Spellbinders Shapeabilities set. I think this card is suitable for my uncle who's birthday is coming up soon. The bird is from the Marianne Design set "Eline's Clear Stamps airmail".

First try!

This is my first watercolor card with bokeh technique I tried. I got so infected by that technique, that I already produced a dozen of those cards. You can't see it really good on the picture but I used the "Wink of stella brush glitter pen" on the little black stars. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks for the watercoloring.

Recycled Sizoweb!

The birthday present my best friend gave me last year was wrapped in sizoweb. She used it as decoration at her wedding. So this sizoweb is already a second time recycled.

Lovely picture!

Yesterday, I created a few Valentine's Day cards. One for my hubby and three for my best friends. I send them a card as well, to tell them once more how glad I am to have them in my life.
One of my favorite technique is the bokeh technique on watercolors. Now I already know how to get the best results. That took a while. But meanwhile, I love the outcome.

Smile, Olaf!

My daughter is just listening to the CD of "Frozen". That's why I chose this title for the post.  I used the Lawn Fawn paper "Let's Bokeh in the Snow" again together with the snow man stamp from DEPOT and the polaroid die from Mama Elephant. For the snow flakes I have a little punch from PAGRO.

Goodbye, Opa!

After my father died two years ago, his father died two weeks ago. It is a big loss for my grandmother and her family. When I see his picture on the kitchen wall, I can't believe that he is gone.
I wrote my grandmother the following card:

I used the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch. The branch is from the Stampin'up set "In Gedanken bei dir" and I used the heat embossing technique for it. The background is the woodgrain embossing folder.

Sweet Love Friends

I am back online after quite a long absence. But Christmas time was quite busy, then everyone was sick, my grandfather died, we have been on a short vacation, etc. Furthermore, on my free nights I preferred making card rather then posting them. But meanwhile, I have so many new cards, I want to show them to you!

This is a clean and simple card for Valentine's day. I love to send a card to my best friends too, not just to give one to my sweet heart.
