I saw on Instagram these beautiful cards from Birka using selfmade paper flowers. At this time I was on vacation with my family. I watched the YouTube Video she suggested from Dani Peuss and bought all the supplies needed to create these simple but beautiful paper flowers. Two evenings I sat in our mobile home and made lots of paper flowers which I used for a couple of cards and paper milk packages already. This is my first card:
For this card I stamped the floral fantasy background stamp from My Favorite Things with Versamark Ink and then heat embossed white embossing powder. Afterwards, I colored it in rainbow distress ink colors. I stamped the birthday sentiment on a gift card layer die from WPlus9.
My best friend owns Lawn Fawn's "Magic Color Slider" and I tried it for this year's Father's Day card for my partner. On the top layer it says "a little surprise for you". Inside you see me and our two kids created with the Stampin'Up "all in the family" stamp set. I love the outcome!
I sent this card to my best friend, after we spent a get-away weekend together in May. The past weekend I visited her again, to spend a last girls night out before she is becoming a mother in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, we are living about 90 minutes away from each other, so we don't see us very often. She displays this card next to her TV which made me very proud!
When I saw the stamp set from Altenew "Sketchy Cities Abroad" with the Sydney Skyline I had to buy it. I have been to Sydney three times already, each time for a couple of days, I have to say it is my favorite city in the world!
This is my first card with this stamp set:
This is my first stencil card. I bought a stencil which is supposed to be used for T-Shirt coloring. I tried it on a card. After coloring the stencil I sprayed some water on the card in order to get a smoother look. The stencil garden scene is perfect in combination with the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Fairy Friends".
This is my first card with the cute Lunar Animals by Mama Elephant. At the end of the Kindergarten year I needed a couple of thank you cards for the nursery-school teacher of my kids. My idea was that these cute Lunar Animals represent the kids of the group.
When I was on a girls spa weekend beginning of May with my best and pregnant girlfriend I took lots of stamped paper with me and I colored with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens for hours. This is my first card I finished weeks after this get-away weekend. I used the floral fantasy background stamp and HUGS die-namics from My Favorite Things.
I had to create another card with the cute cats and birds from "purr-fect friends" by My Favorite Things. Furthermore, I used the Die-Namics Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Window from my best friend Christine. The patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn Paper Pack - Perfectly Plaid Petite Rainbow.
The sentiment is from a Create A Smile stamp set.
For this design I was inspired by a video of Jennifer McGuire how to make Tulle Window Cards. I made a series of cards using this gorgious stamp set by My Favorite Things "Purr-fect Friends".
Unfortunately, on this picture you can hardly see the white heat embossed sentiment saying "You are the purr-fect friend".
I used the next owl for a clean and simple thank you card. I die cut the Lil'Inker Designs Boxed Up Greeting Die from a turquise glitter sheet of foam and attached it to the suitable patterned paper of the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Paper Pad.
One of my latest purchase was the Doodle Blooms stamp and matching die-namics by My Favorite Tings. For this card design I was inspired by a card from Victoriya Salmina on Instagram. Under the FRIEND die I stamped a German birthday sentiment.
Here in Austria it is high season for local strawberries. Therefore, I made several birthday cards for friends and my mother who will celebrate their birthdays in the next couple of weeks. The sentiment is from Create A Smile.
This is another card I created at the latest crop with my best friend Christine. I used her Memory Box Butterfly Heart thin metal die, my Martha Stewart Large Monarch Butterfly Punch and a sentiment from the Altenew Label Love stamp set. I love the clean and simple design of this card.
For this baby card I was inspired by a card from Sarah J. Moerman. I colored my background with Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass. The images are from two different stamp sets which belong to my best friend Christine: Wplus9 "Party Animals" & Lawn Fawn "Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum" using the heat embossing technique. I produced this card on our latest crop.
I never showed you my second diaper cake I made for a friend of mine who welcomed their second son. This time I used the Stampin'UP stamp sets "Zoo Babies" and "All in the Family" for it and wrote his name with washi tape. I was looking for the pictures as I want to make a diaper cake again soon, as one of my best friends is due with her second baby girl within the next days.
For this card I used several different stamp set with birthday symbols and sentiments to create the background. Afterwards I used the peacock feathers distress ink. The monster stamp is from viva decor I borrowed from my best friend.
The only shaker cards I have left in store to participate in the current CAS on Sunday challenge "shaker card" are with a Christmas theme. That's why you see this card on a day with 22 degrees outside today:
For this card I created an ombre background with my Distress Inks and used the Martha Stewart Large Monarch Butterfly Punch afterward to get this beautiful butterflies. The sentiment is from Create a Smile Stamps. I made a bunch of cards like this in different colors and sentiments as it was soooo much fun.
To create this card I borrowed an embossing folder from my best friend Christine and colored it with my Distress Inks to create an ombre background. Behind the big heart I stamped a "word cloud" from Stempelbox.
This is the second card from my series I created with the stamp set "time flies" from Create a Smile Stamps using my Tombow Dual Brush Pens for coloring. First time I used the Lil'Inker Designs Silly Stitched Square Die Set as well.
Today, I want to show you my first card where I use the Altenew stamp set Whimsical Flowers. I just tried to find the pin which inspired me to make this card, but I can't find it right now. I will refer to it as soon as I see it. I heat embossed the flowers and colored them afterwards with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens and adhered them on vellum. The sentiment is from Label Love by Altenew as well.
My daughter was invited to a birthday party of twin boys who turned 4. The theme of their party was "pirates". Therefore, I made two cards with the efco stamp set clear strand. This is one of those two cards:
This is my first card with the "Time Flies" stamp set from Create a Smile Stamps. Stamping and coloring this alarm clock takes quite a while but made lots of fun. You will see more of those alarm clocks on my blog now.
My last mother's day card for tonight. I used the linked hearts die from Paper Smooches and the Die-namics Single Stitch Line Rounded Rectangle Frames from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from the Stampin'Up set "Kleine Wuensche".
I made a series of mother's day cards with this technique: gold embossing powder on red card stock with a golden frame from the My Favorite Things "Die-namics Single Stitch Line Rounded Rectangle Frames". The background stamp is My Favorite Things "Floral Fantasy Background".
